Emerging Indie Authors
Are You an Emerging Indie Literary Fiction Author?
Indie authors should support Indie authors. We just should. If we don’t help each other to be heard above the fray of Internet commerce then none of our work will ever be read by anyone other than those who at some point or another have claimed us as dependents on their tax returns.
To do my part, I am dedicating this slice of the OTF website to announcing new releases of literary fiction by emerging independent authors. If you write literary fiction and you would like me to introduce your latest release to my readers, I am happy to do so. Subscribers to this site will receive a notice of each posting and will have at their fingertips everything they need to follow the trail of electronic breadcrumbs back to your author website or to wherever your book is for sale.
If you are interested, please fill out and submit the short on-line application below. The information requested will allow me to do a little research on you and your book. Selected authors must subscribe to this site and include a reciprocal link on their author website. If your application is approved, I will post the following information: your name, the name of your book, available formats, a 100-word summary, a link to your website, and the place or places your book can be found. Postings will be made 1-3 times per week on a first-come, first-serve basis. When my in-box fills up with applications, I will temporarily close the process to new applications. Keep checking back.
It gets better. Once a month I will select one author from those I have listed on this site to interview. The interview will allow you to expound on your book, your influences, your reading preferences, your writing process and your experiences along the road to publication. It’s a good way to introduce yourself and your writing to people you may otherwise never be able to reach.
